The Dining room was a little dark and made the menus hard to read. A little more attention to the lighting and overall space would make for a better dining experience.

Salads and Soups were served quickly and nicely presented. Dinner was served on a luke warm Plate but was tasty. The Prime Rib was rare and delicious. The garlic mashed potatoes were BLAND at best. The Veal Saltimbocca with fettucini and vegetables was wonderful. The Swordfish Special with jalapeno Lime sauce made your taste buds vibrate with delite. The Shrimp Proviencal smelled fishy but was succulent.

The Desserts were served semi cold. The Creme Brulee was suppose to be vanilla bean, But was very PLAIN. The Granny Smith Apple pie with vanilla ice cream laced with chocolate sauce was a disappointment that the pie was not hot.
We brought our own bottle of local wine and was charged a $10.00 corkage fee. Service overall was good, as my water glass never got more than half empty.

ALL in all a great dining experience in the hills outside Hollister Ca.
