Been here a few times. Food is very good. Nice atmosphere. Great to watch the kitchen staff prepare and cook your dinner. Very diverse menu. Good wine list . Staff is very attentive.

we ordered the bone in Rib Eye for 2 and it was cooked to perfection. The grilled corn and fried onion rings were awesome. 5 stars

I remember when this restaurant opened in the 80′s, as i used to live in Milpitas California since 1966.  I hadn’t been in at least 20 years and tonight some friends told me they wanted to go to this mexican restaurant called CASA AZTECA…   The wait staff was right there with water, drinks and to take our order starting with Top shelf margarita’s, guacamole & chips, Salsa. Then  salad and  delicious House dressing, the tasty Tortilla soup , and the Main courses of Fajitas, Carne Asada, Chili relleno’s,  Pollo & carne asada tacos, pollo enchilada’s, rice & beans delivered on very HOT plates…. yum yum…..  More margarita’s  and to finish it all off with a FLAN and 4 spoons….       Our waiter was excellent, atmosphere was pleasant and the whole evening was delightful.  Next time you’re in Milpitas, don’t miss an opportunity to enjoy this restaurant

If you love Steak, this is your place.

I love this place. You pick out your cut of meat from their vast showcase, THEN. You walk over the their red hot grills and enjoy being the chef. There is thick Texas toast bread to lather with butter, sprinkle on garlic powder and throw on the grill while you’re steak is cooking. Included sides are baked potato with butter, sour cream, grated cheese, freshly diced green onion, baked beans, grilled onions, and spices. The meal comes with a garden salad. .
There are additional sides such as portobello mushrooms and mixed vegetables .
If you don’t want to cook your meal, the restaurant will have one of their chefs cook for you.
The restaurant has a separate menu if you want sandwiches, salads, or entree.
There is a full bar available.
We always cook our own dinner, as its so much fun to cook your steak, toast the bread and talk and have fun doing it.
During the summer months the outside seating in their swinging picnic tables is a blast. Yes I said swinging tables. The whole table with seats and awning swing back n forth… You gotta try it.

We drove over to show a good friend from California the town of Saugatuck. It was 2:45pm in the afternoon so we stopped in at The Butler for a late lunch.
Our waitress was Nikki. We started with some water with EXTRA lemon, and an iced tea.
For appetizers We tried a small basket of their beer battered onion rings, beer battered french fries, the bacon wrapped Scallops and the crab stuffed mushroom caps.
The onion rings were crisp on the outside and the large slices of onion were tasty. The fries, looked more like a frozen fries we get at a Jack in the Box… Did not look freshly made at all, but were crisp and tasted good.

The bacon wrapped scallops were kinda chewy, the bacon was crisp, but did look a little over cooked.
The crab stuffed mushrooms, were drenched in melted cheese, and frankly, none of us ever tasted any crab.

We ordered a cup of Butler New England Clam Chowder, the Perch sandwich and a Cherry Chicken and Walnut salad.

The soup and salad were both good, the Perch was a little over fried/cooked, dry and mostly tasted like corn meal with not much fish flavor.

Some of our party had been to The Butler numerous times before and said that this was not one of the finer days they had dined there.

Atomica Pizza & Wine.

Located in the middle of Brock street, the store front restaurant was small but quaint. Approx 1000sq ft with outside seating. we arrived at 6:10pm for our 6:30pm reservation. The table was set up in back by pizza oven. It was fun to watch the pizza’s be made and put in the oven.
We ordered the diavolo Hawalano, fruitti Di mare for appetizers. The Diavolo Hawalano had a spicy red sauce, that kinda over powered the sweetness of the pineapple, next we ordered calamari and the caprese with pesto. The crispy Calamari came in a small bowl with tomato sauce , olives and was “different” and not to my liking. It was good.

For dinner we had a variety of pasta’s. fettucine, house special pasta with shrimp, Bucatini All, Amatriciani. All was delicious.

For dessert we tried the Carmelita, frozen canoli, Chocolate Tiramisu.

Service was attentive.

In SF with friends from Chicago and met up other friends in town from Rhode Island and New Orleans. Arrived at Trattoria Contadina for dinner. Got led upstairs to a cute little back dining room. Started our evening with a antipasti plate and a roasted red pepper dish with asiago. Sourdough bread and olive oil, Assorted drinks for the table. Great conversation and ordered dinner. Salads arrived. Wine was ordered.
Dinner arrived with. Veal piccatta, cheese ravioli with tomato cream, risotto, Pavarotti , vongole.

The 8 of us had a great evening of friendship and catching up on old times. Restaurant was full, and watching all other patrons , everyone had a good time
for dessert we had tiramisu, mocha fango(Oreo cookie crust with mocha almond chip gelato filling), limoncello, after dinner coffee’s The staff took very good care of us and our water glasses never got empty.
Restaurant is small, quaint and the one single bathroom gives it appeal. !!!!!!

The girls, on their girls weekend in Napa, needed a place to eat Saturday night… reservations though. We took an Uber to Downtown Napa and after one block we found delicious aromas coming from Ristorante Allegria. It was going to be a 2 hour wait for a table, which indicates a good restaurant, so we put our name in and sat at the bar. We brought a bottle of Twomey 2010 Merlot had our bartender, who was very accommodating, open it for us. We enjoyed our wine and ordered Calamari Fritti while we waited. After only an hour wait they seated us and our waitress Terri greeted us with excitement–she was reminded of her favourite girls weekend. Another bottle of Merlot –Coppola 2012 was ordered. J had Wild Mushroom Ravioll (it had no i, a misspell on the menu which made us laugh), she said it was superb –R kept sneaking some, which she liked better than her Gnocchi Al Pesto with a sauce that was a bit too heavy. M had the Linguine Frutti Di Mare. — a nice amount of fish, the sauce had a nice kick and she cleaned her plate! I had the Pappardelle Allo Zafferano which was amazing! A single serving of Vanilla Bean Gelato and four spoons for dessert…..a nice finish! We all agree it was 4 stars and would be recommended!!!!

We came to downtown while visiting Ronnie and Cheryl at Christmas Time. They took us to the Broadway Oyster Bar. We started with assorted beers and cocktails. Had the Crispy Calamari, which…. Was Crispy BUT. A little over cooked… But was good.

We ordered 2 of the nightly specials, Blackened Maui Maui……yum yum yum… And the Shrimp encrusted grilled swordfish…. Delicious We also had the Lobster and Mushroom pasta and the Crawfish Étouffée .
Our server , Lindsay took good care of us.
Everyone had a great time and we give it 4.5 Stars

Kamana Kitchen Kailua-Kona, Hawaii

Went to dinner on a Wednesday evening while visiting friends on the big Island Hawaii. We went to downtown Kailua-Kona and cruised the town looking at sites and decided to go for Indian food.
We were seated right away, and the restaurant was half empty. The service was a little slow, but the food was very tasty. We had Spinach Palak Paner, Mushroom Matar, Chicken Tikka Marsala , shrimp Tandoori, all served with rice, garlic Nan. We were too full for dessert.
Everyone left happy and content

Located on Highway 9 in Felton, Ca. The Cowboy Bar & Grill has been a local staple for years. Food is awesome. Stop in and enjoy. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff.
